I'm an Economics Coach at Econschool and an Academic Specialist at NYU Abu Dhabi. My work centers on preparing students for graduate study in economics — MA and PhD programs at the Indian Statistical Institute, the Indian Institute of Technology and institutions worldwide.
I hold an MA in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and a BA in Economics from the University of Delhi. My research interests are in microeconomic theory and economic education.
I've run Econschool's preparatory program since 2009. It's an 8–10 month annual program for students aspiring to graduate study, taught with an emphasis on mathematical rigor — depth over shortcuts, full working over memorization. I also teach periodic workshops on topics in economics, mathematics, and statistics with R and Python, typically for college students and working professionals.
Recent and ongoing work:
The Econ Artbook — a 100-page collection of mathematical postcards built in TikZ and Mathcha, illustrating ideas from across the graduate-economics curriculum.
Econschool's open forum — a freely accessible discussion space for economics discussions and entrance preparation, used by students globally.
